Highlander Hybrids and Camry Hybrids are not involved in the sticking accelerator pedal recall. Further, Camry, RAV4, Corolla and Highlander vehicles with VINs that begin with "J" are not involved in the sticking accelerator pedal recall.
RAV4 is not impacted by the floor mat recall.
Consequence:
THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY BECOME HARD TO DEPRESS, SLOW TO RETURN TO IDLE, OR, IN THE WORST CASE, MECHANICALLY STUCK IN A PARTIALLY DEPRESSED POSITION, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
